Whanganui & Partners Board Members
Expressions of interest are called for candidates with governance experience for two vacancies on the Whanganui & Partners Board.
Whanganui and Partners is a Council Controlled Organisation which is responsible for driving Council’s economic development activity and provides the link between the Whanganui District Council and the community in relation to economic development.
As a board member you will be ambitious and able to influence a strong strategic direction to ensure Council’s expectations are met. You will have a deep understanding of good governance principles and directorship, a willingness to be bold while understanding risk mitigation.
These appointments have a high degree of accountability to the Whanganui community to ensure Whanganui continues to grow and be prosperous. You will be highly networked, have strong commercial acumen and a true passion for Whanganui.
We welcome applicants who can bring diversity to the Board and successful candidates must also be willing and available to devote time and energy to the role.
